Our Client, Paul Brown, has finished the recording of his new audio book for Audible.com. The work is from his new release “Too Good To Be True-Scottsdale and Privatization in the 1980s” available here on Amazon.com. Paul hired Audacity Productions during the pandemic for assistance in the producing of the audio book. Paul is not a professional voice actor and had never done narration of a book before. Paul narrated the book at his home with a USB microphone straight into his computer using free Audacity recording software. Paul then uploaded his project via Dropbox to a shared folder where we brought the folder into our system. Audacity Productions reviewed the narration for content, style, mouth noises, room noise, breath sounds, sound quality and level. We sent multiple passages back to Paul for re-recording when required via Dropbox. Once all the work was edited, we reviewed each chapter in it’s entirety and mastered the book to Audible.com’s specific requirements and format for upload. Paul didn’t have any problems with the upload and was ecstatic about the incredible sound quality and professionalism Audacity Productions brought to his book.
We are so pleased to have Paul as a client and can’t wait for his next book in progress!
